Install the desktop version of the Pivot Viewer
While Microsoft Live Labs no longer is up, you can get the Pivot viewer for your Windows Vista/7 desktop by
downloading from Softpedia.com.
You can use the desktop version of the Pivot viewer to preview your pivot collections before making them available on the web. Or, you can use the viewer to view already existing collections. Just type the URL to the .cxml collection file into the viewer.
