Pivot is fantastic, but takes quite a bit of tech-savvy to use. Pivot for All promises to simplify the process, making Pivot available for ALL
Overview
Microsoft Labs, while they still existed, created some really cool tools/technologies. One that really caught our eye was call Pivot.
"...a new way to browse and arrange massive amounts of images and data online. Built on breakthrough Seadragon technology, it enables spectacular zooms in and out of databsets, and the discovery of patterns and links invisible to standard browsing."
Although Microsoft has killed the Microsoft Labs Pivot project, there still exists some tools to help users create their own "Pivot Collections" Learn more by watching this video, or this video.
